What is a Free Mission ?

A FREE Mission is a 48 hours event gathering open communities (Wikimedia, Openstreetmap, and many other free and collaborative projects) to help small towns open their informations.

With citizens, local non-profits, the city hall and all volunteers, a free mission open data, open content, create wikipedia articles, digitalize archives and postcards, teach inhabitants how to use open tools and map their street, create the city map with OSM, reference local environmental diversity, take wonderful pictures of places and many many other activites.
